Terms of Service

By requesting a reservation, taking part in one of our public pop-ups, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you're booking on behalf of a group, a party, a company, or an organization, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms on their behalf, and that you'll pass along the relevant rules, especially our Safety Rules, to your guests.

Diggers and Bandits RC provides a mobile, hands-on RC construction experience: a dig pit, roughly 6' x 8' and about a foot deep, alongside a fleet of RC excavators, dump trucks, cranes, loaders, and kei trucks, run with staff on hand throughout. There are two ways to experience it:

• Public pop-ups at farmers markets and community events. Check our Events page for the current schedule.
• Private reservations for birthday parties, corporate and office events, tailgates, weddings, baby showers, and other gatherings across the Greater Houston area. See our Packages page.

Our public pop-ups, currently weekends around Cypress and Katy, are walk-up, no reservation required. Pricing is pay-as-you-play at $1 per minute, no minimum, paid to our team on-site.

• Turns are first-come, first-served and managed by our team to keep the line moving.
• Equipment assignment, excavator, kei truck, loader, and so on, is based on what's free when it's your turn.
• Posted rules and staff direction apply to everyone in the pit. See our Safety Rules.

To book a private event, submit a reservation request with your event details, date, location, guest count, and package. We confirm availability and follow up to finalize everything. We don't collect payment through this website; deposits and balances are arranged directly with our team.

• A deposit is required to lock in your date and package. It is non-refundable once your date is confirmed.
• The remaining balance is due on the day of your event.
• Need to reschedule? Contact us as soon as you know. We'll work with you to find another available date at no extra charge, availability permitting.
• Guest count changes: let us know as early as possible. Larger increases may require an add-on or a package upgrade.
• Setup requires reasonably flat, accessible ground for the dig pit and a clear path for our team and equipment. We'll walk through site details with you ahead of time.

We welcome kids and adults alike. Most activities suit ages 5 and up, and younger children are welcome with an adult operating alongside them. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who stays present and responsible for them for the full session. See our Safety Rules for the full detail.

RC equipment involves moving parts, booms, buckets, and treads, and even at hobby scale it carries some risk of minor injury or property damage if used carelessly. By participating, at a pop-up or a private event, you acknowledge that risk and agree to follow our staff's instructions and the posted Safety Rules at all times.

• For reserved private events, you'll be asked to sign a liability waiver and release as part of confirming your booking.
• For public pop-ups, taking part after hearing our team's safety briefing and reading the posted rules is your agreement to participate at your own risk and to operate the equipment responsibly.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diggers and Bandits RC is not liable for injuries or damages arising from misuse of the equipment, failure to follow staff instructions, or the ordinary risks of outdoor, hands-on play.

Because we operate outdoors, weather can affect both pop-ups and private events. We monitor conditions closely, and if severe weather makes a setup unsafe, we'll pause or cancel the activity and work with you to reschedule at no extra charge. We reserve the right to end a session early for safety if conditions change on-site.

All equipment is owned, maintained, and operated on-site with the help of our staff. You're behind the sticks, but our team handles setup, batteries, and repairs.

• Follow staff direction on how to hold and use each controller.
• Don't attempt to open, charge, or repair any unit yourself.
• Tell a staff member right away if something isn't working or gets damaged during your turn.

We reserve the right to end a turn or a session, without a refund for that turn, for anyone operating equipment recklessly or ignoring staff direction.

Pop-up sessions are pay-as-you-play, paid to our team on-site. Private event deposits and balances are arranged directly with us after we confirm your booking. We don't process card payments through this website, and we'll always confirm accepted payment methods with you before your event.

The Diggers and Bandits RC name, logo, and the text, photos, and video on this site are our property, or used with permission, and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, or present our content as your own without asking us first.

This website and our services are provided "as is." We work to keep scheduling, pricing, and package details accurate, but availability and conditions can change. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the reservation in question.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last Updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
